About

The ‘Rablcube’ is an affectionate name given to Sandy Macdonald’s 4th year University project. The project is to create a 3D Volumetric Display from RGB (Red, Green, Blue) LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). It will initially be a 4*4*4 cube giving a low, but acceptable, resolution. (Edit: For now it is a single colour, blue, 6*6*6 cube.)

The cube is similar to those created by others but also different in that it will be used to display images and text instead of shapes and random light shows. It is anticipated that there will be a large amount of difficult coding and circuit design involved. (Edit: Not just anticipated any more.)
